The G207 TF86 Dehydration Filter (Dryer) is used in the TruckFridge TF86 Cooling System and has the double task of blocking any solid impurity through a metal mesh and of absorbing any possible humidity (moisture) present in the fluid by means of a highly hygroscopic molecular sieve. Always replace the dryer every time the circuit is opened for repair. A drier as its name implies is used to remove the moisture from the refrigerant. Sometimes it is also referred to as dehydrator or dryer. It is necessary to remove moisture from the system otherwise it may freeze inside the tube causing the flow of refrigerant to be restricted.
