Shore Power (110 VAC)
The use of shore power eliminates the need for generators, solar power or running the vehicles engine to recharge the auxiliary deep cycle battery during long stop overs..
TF36DC can alternatively be used in shore power applications where 110 VAC power is available. Simply add a 12 V battery charger always connected to the deep cycle battery. You can plug and unplug the battery charger without affecting the fridge. This is also a very cost effective alternative.
Truck Fridge
The TF36DC was originally designed for cab over trucks in Europe however can also be installed under the bunk in North American highway trucks with smaller sleeper cabs that do not have a built-in cabinet. The sliding drawer design allows the driver access to the contents without losing valuable space in the cab. (Cabinet opening should measure approximately 17 1/4” wide).
Optional TF36FK trim flange kit available to finish front opening of cabinet when installing the unit.
Van / RV Fridges
The TF36DC is also ideal for many RV and van applications.
